I will do a quick tour of all my activities ; first... 2 storms in 3 days ; my dear husband has been spoiled this week.

My bears

The first one is Roxanne ; a felted teddy ; here is her pictures

Roxanne is a totally new design that I created myself.

She is on Ebay for the moment.

Second Thread Crochet Bear : Cassandra.

Also a totally new design... I like her also.

She has been adopted immediately.  She will leave Canada for USA.

I crocheted the dress ; I had more than 200 stitches for the skirt ; I used a variegated thread from Finca.

That's all for my babies bears.

My other baby, Carie has been adopted last week and she is gone..difficult moment for "Mommy"... YEP.. but c'est la vie....

And now the tatting.

A few blogs ago, I talked about a flower that I created myself ; my daughter kept it.. finally I received it back.

And see the result :

I used a metallic gold for the center and the Finca thread for the petals ; the picots of the inside petals are frayed and I design another pattern for the outside petal.

Normally the flower is a little closed but for the picture I opened it.

Just to show you also the snow of Thursday ; I did not need curtains, look

It's in my kitchen ; our apartment is on the third floor ; thus, with the blizzar, all the snow "glued" at the windows.

The weather channel talked about another one, tomorrow afternoon.

It's awful.

I had a bad week ; Ebay decided to increase the fees... I had to close the store ; I will reopen one on another auctions site.

More, a buyer bought 2 of my teddies on Ebay ; she waited several weeks to pay me.. I sent the parcel (with a tracking code...ouff..).. today she asks for a refund because I sent my parcel more than 2 days after she paid.  It's awful. I can not believe what I see, what I ear...I'm totally lost in that world. The bad point of that.. the buyer continue to bid on other auctions (bears again).. and I'm not allowed to tell the seller to be careful...

I'm tatting the  hexagonal doily of Mimi... so great, I like to make clunies now.. in tatting.. not really in bobbinlace...

I have a new thread crochet bear Valentine ; she is not yet on Ebay (because I don't know what to do with all that), but there are the pictures of the new baby.

I changed the design and I tatted several hearts I put on a ribbon around her head and as decoration for the dress ; I made the dress with Finca thread and I created myself the pattern ; for the bear also, I created in the same time I was crocheting it.

      I like her (once again..;0))).

Her Name is Valentine 2005.

And.......now..... my painting (but just the sketches)

  I will add real linen thread ; the painting is nearly done.  I'm working on it for 2 years, I think.

  This one, I started in December, when we came back from Quebec.

Bobbinlace will be my first point today :  when I was in Quebec, a month ago, I found a bobbinlace work ; damaged, yes, but I would like to repair it.

For me, that doily was a first test for the lacemaker but I think that we must save lace.

ok... explanations : I made the baby without any mold.  I think that she is my 100th test.. I decided to make it and I did it ; you guess I added one of my teddies.. She measures 1 1/2" .. she is sooo cute.

I'm making tatting in place to be in class today...

I want to show you my last teddy, Bonnie 2004.

I inserted a tatted edge around the skirt.

I like it and Bonnie will be adopted soon....

I know it's a very simple edge, but I liked the effect on the little dress.

I added Delica beads around the sleeves.

However, I had a allergic reaction to the angora yarn.. and I think that I will not make angora thread crochet bears any more.  I have another one that I will put on my blog, tomorrow or in a few days.

I also created a tatted flower ...in Finca, variegated lilac.... mixing with frayed picots..I will ask my daughter to bring it back to take pictures.

Believe me.. when I will save tatted pieces that I made for me... it will be later or never.

I'm knitting for the moment...

I started a little sweater with a design on the front part.

You guess that it will be a teddy bear..

Look the right side :

I bought the yarn at Phildar in Quebec ; I like the result and I'm using bamboo needles ; very light and flexible.

And the difficult part of my knitting work... I always used the Philosopher way on circular needles.. now.. I had to master this way on the wrong side.. Now, I know how to do it.. but... the design is finished...

I will knit booties ( I started one... with a border to imitate a sole of a shoe)
