Yesterday, we went to Rothesay, Quispamsis ; the weather was very cold, -26 and a very strong wind.

I could not stay oustide of the car but Alain, stubborn as usual, took pictures.

It's a real village on ice, with a church in the middle.

I had to share these pictures ; it's so great.

People were driving on the ice, making cercles....it was good for them, but not for me....

it's all for tonight.

My first point : Tatting.

I have been very busy ; I design the last row.  I was so stressed by the last row.. being very afraid to scrap the work of my tatters friends.

All split rings for the 5th row.... it seemed that I would never complete it.

The French tatting group is running now ; not a lot of participation, but I hope that it will be better soon. We will see.

The last one teddy bear.... I designed a little skirt in tatting... I like her.. Her name is Lily

It's a very simple pattern, but I enjoyed to draw it, to create...

There are not a lot of bears like Lily....

And a sad story for Courtney...

Courtney has been adopted by a ........ first, the lady did not pay me on time and I had to wait one month to receive it after many mails, phone calls etc....

Courtney travelled in her display box and when the parcel arrived, the lady decided to return Courtney to sender without opening the parcel... so, she came back.

You guess that the lady would like to have her money back.

That's what I did (for a part) because she will wait as I waited to be paid...

Finally, I opened the parcel and I explained the story to my bears friend.

So, Courtney will travel again, but now I know that she will have a real nice Mommy.

She is very cute ; I used Valdani Pearl cotton for the dress and I designed it also.

Jennifer has been adopted immediately by a sweet Mommy.

I'm so long today ....

I have a new teddy this week :

Kristel  : I crocheted a hat in a constrating color...

She can open her mouth.  It was so great to create her ; very simple just a bow around her neck.

I had another one ; Chantel (she has been adopted today)

It was also great to make her.

Great, I like to make it ; just a surprise each round.  The 2 first rounds are done and I have a picture :

I used Finca as usual ; I like the thread ; the work is so nice ..

And now, I have an excellent news : I started a new tatting group in French and other languages..I had the permission of Georgia and Roger to translate the online class and publish on the group pages.

I'm really happy... however... my group is very quiet ; I think that I will need a few months to have a discussion in the group.. anyway, we will see and I'm really happy...
